from the coconut to your fridge.
one ingredient means there's nowhere to hide. here's exactly where ours comes from and what happens to it.
1 · the coconuts
we use green coconuts from the mekong delta in southern vietnam, picked early, when the water is at its sweetest and the flesh has barely started to form. early-picked coconuts give a lighter taste than the brown ones you see in shops.
2 · opened and packed at source
the coconuts are opened and the water packed close to where they grow, in a food-safety-certified facility. it's never turned into concentrate and watered back down. that's why the ingredients list has one line.
3 · made to keep
the water is gently heat-treated and sealed in a sterile carton, so it stays good unopened for up to 12 months without anything added. no preservatives, no added sugar, no flavourings.
4 · the carton
our 330ml cartons are mostly paperboard and accepted for recycling by most uk councils. rinse, flatten, cap back on, and in the recycling it goes. the case is cardboard too.
5 · to your door
cases are stored in our uk warehouse. a tracked courier gets them to you in 2–4 working days, free, anywhere in mainland uk.
6 · what we check
every batch arrives with the packer's specification and best-before date, and we taste from every delivery we receive before it goes on sale. if anything is ever off, email us and we'll replace it.
